Privacy policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This policy explains what AEO Checker (“we”, “the tool”) does with information when you use it. The tool is part of DigiMoneyBlogger; the blog has its own privacy policy.
Only public pages are fetched
When you enter a URL, our server requests that public page, its robots.txt, its sitemaps and, for some checks, an llms.txt file, to run the checks and show you the result. We refuse private and internal addresses, and we never keep the content of the pages we fetch.
If you do not sign in
Nothing about your scan is saved. The result is shown to you and disappears when you leave the page. To limit abuse we count how many checks come from your IP address in a short period; the counter stores a one-way hash of the address and expires within hours.
If you sign in with your DigiMoneyBlogger account
Signing in uses your DigiMoneyBlogger account. We never see your password: the blog confirms who you are and sends us only your account number, email address and display name. We store:
- your email address, your display name and an internal user ID;
- for each scan you run while signed in: the URL, the date, the results and your fix-tracker notes.
We do not store anything else about you, and we do not share this data, sell it, or use it for advertising. Only you can open, change, download or delete your scans.
How long we keep it
Each scan is deleted automatically about 12 months after it was last updated. Your email and name are kept until you delete your account.
Your controls
On your account page you can delete a single scan, delete all your scans, or delete your account, which removes your scans, your email and your name from our storage. You can also email support@digimoneyblogger.com and we will do it for you.
Human check
To stop automated abuse, the checker may use Cloudflare Turnstile before running a check. Turnstile may process technical information from your browser; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Logs and cookies
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, time and requested address, for security and operation. If you sign in we set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. If you sign in or start signing in we also set a short-lived security cookie to protect the sign-in flow. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies of our own.
Advertising
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies, such as the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and you can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where required, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message is shown before personalised ads are served. Ads never appear inside the checker itself.
Third-party links, children and changes
Guides link to other websites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices. The tool is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
